On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, we extend heartiest greetings to the people, Chinese communist party and the Government of the People’s Republic of China.”

Chinese New Year is the most prominent traditional festival of the Chinese culture marked by family reunion and celebrations.

The cordial relation between Bangladesh and China is deeply rooted in our history and cultural exchanges.

The relations between modern China and today’s Bangladesh was established on a solid foundation with the visit of our father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He visited  China in the year 1952 and 1957. Bangabandhu was highly impressed with the enthusiasm of the Chinese people to build their country, which was reflected in his book “Amar Dekha Nowa Chin” .

Today we take the privilege to recognize the many contributions of Chinese have made, and continue to make, to develop the infrastructure of our country. We also appreciate the measures taken by the Chinese government to fight the covid-19 pandemic in Bangladesh and beyond.

From our family to yours, we wish everyone celebrating a peaceful, prosperous and joyful year of tiger.
